the name

Feathers kept dinosaurs warm for a hundred million years before anything flew. Biology calls it exaptation: something built for one purpose takes on a new one, and nothing is thrown away. That is what we do with companies. Exapta, with a P.

I spent years in medicine and the last decade teaching people to pass the hardest exam of their lives. Then I built an education company’s entire software platform myself, with AI, without a developer on staff. Exapta exists because every owner I talk to is being told to replace their people, and I think that’s exactly backwards. The goal is to make the person in front of you more capable.
